This weekend is another packed one in the Big Ten with some interesting matchups that could be impactful for the playoff race that is heating up. Most of the Big Ten games this week have massive spreads, with six of the seven matchups having lines that opened as double digits, including Maryland. Let take a look at the spreads for all the Big Ten games this Saturday. All lines are courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook. No. 22 Penn State (-10.5) at Maryland O/U 55.5Penn State has been dominant over Maryland historically, except last year where the Terps went to Happy Valley with no fans in attendance and came away with a 35-19 win against a struggling Penn State team. The last time the game was in College Park in 2019, the Nittany Lions annihilated the Terps, 59-0. Penn State is having a solid season, at one point ranked No. 5 in the AP poll, however, they are coming off three straight losses, including a massive upset to Illinois two weeks ago https://www.mtoutletstore.com/Jack_Howes_Jersey-129. The Nittany Lions will be hungry, looking to get back on track against Maryland https://www.mtoutletstore.com/Johari_Branch_Jersey-64, who has had no success against opponents atop the Big Ten East. No. 6 Ohio State (-14.5) at NebraskaO/U 64Ohio State is full steam ahead as they attempt to run the table and capture the Big Ten championship en route to another playoff berth. Since their upset loss to Oregon early on, they have been dominating opponents in the Big Ten. Traveling to Nebraska shouldn't be much of a road block for the Buckeyes as Nebraska has struggled all season Jordan Castleberry Jersey, winning just one game in the conference and sitting in last place in the Big Ten West. Minnesota (14.5) vs. IllinoisO/U 44After a rocky 2-2 start, Minnesota has rallied off four straight wins and is in prime position to win the Big Ten West and secure its spot in the Big Ten Championship. This weekend, they will face another team at the bottom of the Big Ten when the Fighting Illini head to Minneapolis. The Golden Gophers are getting two touchdowns for a reason with the expectation they can handle Illinois fairly easily. No. 5 Michigan State (-3) at Purdue O/U 53Spartan fans are feeling good in East Lansing after knocking off in-state rival Michigan last weekend in a comeback win to remain undefeated. Currently tied for first place in the Big Ten East, the Spartans control their own destiny to potentially make the College Football Playoff or a top bowl game. However, that won be easy with a challenging schedule in the four games that remain. That starts this weekend with a Purdue team that is no pushover. If the line being just a field goal is any indicator, oddsmakers expect this to be a close game in West Lafayette. Wisconsin (12.5) at Rutgers O/U 38Wisconsin is coming off an impressive win over a ranked Iowa team to give the Badgers their fourth straight win. They now have a matchup with a scrappy Rutgers team that has four wins, but only one in the Big Ten and struggles to put up points. Wisconsin is in contention in the Big Ten West and needs to finish the season strong to have a chance at the Big Ten championship. The over/under in this game tells bettors it is supposed to be a low-scoring affair.No. 19 Iowa (-12) at Northwestern O/U 40.5After starting the season 6-0 and ranked in the top five in the AP poll, Iowa has lost two straight to Purdue and Wisconsin and dropped all the way to 19. What was once an unstoppable defense has taken a step back. Despite the two losses, Iowa still has much to play for, in the conference and beyond, and will certainly look to bounce back with a statement against a bad Northwestern team. No. 9 Michigan (-19) vs. Indiana O/U 51Michigan lost a game it desperately wanted, and needed, to win last Saturday against Michigan State. The Wolverines led for most of the game but fell apart late. While it is now difficult for Michigan to make the Big Ten championship, they are still in a position to head into the much anticipated Ohio State game hich is the last game of the season with one loss. Getting back on track starts this weekend with an Indiana team that is depleted with injuries and just lost a tight one to Maryland. Odds/lines subject to change. TCs apply.
